CONCESSIONS LIABILITY INSURANCE
"CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE"
As in the past, the Allen County Agricultural Society will require you to carry liability insurance for your concession/display. The minimum limit acceptable is $500,000 for Bodily Injury and/or Property Damage Claims. The reason for this requirement is that you and/or your organization could be held responsible if, because of some negligent act, someone gets hurt or something gets damaged. Therefore, you will need to have insurance protection for this liability.
If you and/or your organization have adequate coverage and limits, simply have your agent send us a "CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE" confirming the coverage that you have. Please forward your insurance certificate to us as soon as possible after the renewal date. WE WILL NOT PERMIT YOU TO BEGIN OPERATING YOUR CONCESSION/DISPLAY UNTIL WE ARE POSITIVE THAT YOU HAVE AN APPROPRIATE INSURANCE COVERAGE.
If you should have difficulty obtaining the required insurance, contact our office by. As in years past, insurance coverage for the dates of our fair, August 15-23, 2008, can be obtained through our office for a fee. Checks should be made payable to: Allen County Fair. Contact our office for the amount.
